Was it just me or did the 4th seem like it took up the whole weekend?...no wait it did! Saturday the fireworks, Sunday the real 4th with fireworks at home, and Monday off work, it was grand! We had fun with Jill, Rich, Calvin, Clare, Paka, and Grandma Campbell. Sunday's retreat to Pine Valley for dinner was heaven sent, the weather was PERFECT.
*side note...we started ripping apart our backyard as well. It's high time for some REAL grass, and less rocks for Kenz to scrape her knees upon. Needless to say it's still not done and poor Albie is as red as the sand. My blisters from shoveling layers and layers upon more layers of rocks are starting to heal. My fingers are crossed that it only takes a few more weeks at most!
Hope you all enjoyed/ celebrated our Nation's Independence Day as much as we did!

Oh my gosh your little boy is cute!! I'm so jealous of all that hair!!!! And your little girl seems so much bigger than last time I was on here. You guys look great. Such a cute family.
