Punch

OK, so here is what, not who, I would like to punch in the face:

Economy

I'm so SICK of the word! How it somehow weasels it's way into EVERY conversation. I know it's not to be ignored and that we are in a crisis, I just can't take THAT word anymore! I'm sick and tired of it being the scapegoat for half of 2008 and I'm sure all of 2009. For example:

I lost my job because of the economy
I can't sell my house because of the economy
I can't pay my bills because of the economy
can't vacation because of the economy
can't have fun because of the economy
must be afraid because of the economy
have to be frugal because of the economy
can't have a baby because of the economy
cant get a new car because of the economy

I'm sure some of those excuses/reasons I've heard are due to the current state of things, and yes I will admit some of those have come out of my mouth, but come on! I think the majority of people are just using "it" to blame everything that could possibly go wrong in there lives on.
On a second note, I'm having a really hard time with the word "STIMULUS" as well. I hate the fact that all the stupid banks gave people stupid loans and now they are losing their houses, can't pay their bills, and expect to get bailed out, for not doing their homework before buying. If it were up to me, every person who DOES pay their bills on time, and DID their homework to make sure they weren't house poor, should receive a check for good behavior, and be rewarded. Then you might say, "well the rich get richer." Then I say, "No the poor get smarter!"

SO there take it economy, take it, take it, take it!
